A white hibiscus,(but, really not) but grown as an annual, then at the end of the season you don't have to worry about trying to winter it over. This gives an amazing tropical feel without all the maintenance, looks great as a shrub in your yard also makes an amazing cut flower. They are cut and come again, so don't be shy to harvest.

Some reading will tell you to direct sow early spring and they don’t like transplanting.

I have always started these indoors 6-8 weeks before my last frost and transplanted out. I have never had issues with transplanting these guys.
